About Us

After 25 years in legal practice, our Managing Director, Suresh Divyanathan, decided to start his own law chambers with a few trusted juniors who have worked with him for many years. He decided that he wanted to build a practice based on a fundamental concept and a few core values which his years of experience have taught him were essential to good lawyering.

The fundamental concept is that the practice of law is a People Business. That means, apart from understanding the law and appreciating the detailed facts of each case, we always strive to remember that our clients are people – people with feelings and motivations. People for whom their case could be the most important thing happening in their lives right now. People who have entrusted us with their case because they believe we will do our utmost for them. When we see our clients as people like that, we understand the responsibility we have to our clients to indeed do our utmost for them.

Further, the practice of law is a People Business because we are only as good as the people we have. No man is an island. All of our cases are of such complexity that it takes a team effort to deliver the best results possible for our clients. We must therefore always remember that everyone here at Dauntless Law is trying their best and ought to be treated with dignity and respect. We will take the time to teach our juniors because we remember what it was like to have both good leaders and bad leaders in our past. We believe that when you care about your people, they will help you achieve the things you care about.
